I’ve learned to live with his losses and relish the fact that we’re in the drivers seat for a division title. Does it suck knowing we have to eat his losses? Yes. But we’re fortunately a team where the fifth starter is our biggest problem, one who won’t be there in the postseason and may not be here on the team next year or year after.
He’s not making the playoffs roster. Just another game or so and we’re free
Walker ain’t pitching too well, but who do you replace him with? Only need 4 starters in the playoffs so it isn’t even a long-term problem. He just needs to eat innings to preserve the bullpen until the playoffs.
