5. I personally think Nate Davis has been trying to be benched or cut since last season and the Eberflus and Poles have been just so reluctant in getting the hint. He missed the whole offseason program and training camp basically, and since they made him start anyway, he’s purposely trying to play bad to get benched. He just doesn’t wanna play and hasnt for a long time

7. Davis looks like he's trying to get cut. I'd respect Poles for cutting anyone that clearly can't do his job. Keeping him is a problem

8. I think Nate mentally is still a wreck from losing his mother. Probably can't depend on him as a starter. Hopefully Prior or Bates can solidify the RG spot.

9. It is a shame that they just can’t cut Davis. I don’t give a damn if he likes practice. Just showing up to practice doesn’t make you better. You have to put great effort into practice to be at least a good player. 🐻s fulfilled their end of the bargain. Davis has not fulfilled his end of the bargain. They should not have to even pay him. He has offered nothing and is doing nothing. What a waste. It is more than clear that he just doesn’t give a damn.

10. Pryor is a pretty good player, he not better than Davis overall (tevin was out there too empty handed in that clip lol). I just wish he was taking snaps at Center.

11. No need to play a less than 100% Davis. Hes awful at 100%. Sit him! Karan is active too. If both these guys play up to potential Davis never sees the field again.

19. For the ones mad about us getting Rome instead of O-Line, how was Poles supposed to know that his free agent acquisitions like Davis and Shelton were gonna be this bad. Especially judging by how they played in Tennessee and LA. Idk wtf they drink before playing for Chicago but they need to poor that shit out. That Nate Davis film you just showed just pissed me tf off. I get if we just can’t block anyone but this mf WONT block anyone, that’s is unacceptable. Shelton I feel will do decent enough to hold up until we finally draft our franchise center, but Davis has gotta go. Like I try to give players chances but I think he needs to retire and go get some therapy or fall in love or something cuz it don’t seem like football is doin for him.

21. From what I saw of Matt Pryor in the preseason, I thought he looked good……aggressive, physical and strong. I think it's a good move to have him rotating in with Davis.

23. Nate Davis is what happens when you’ve missed training camp and preseason, you’re not on the same page and you don’t have chemistry with the other 4 linemen.

25. Matt Pryor clearly outplayed Davis and Bates in the pre season. I openly question Eberflus’ judgement of talent. What’s up with all the favoritism?? Is this the guy that hired the abominable Allen Williams??

34. Matt Pryor is an upgrade from Nate Davis cuz Davis doesn’t care and doesn’t give 100% effort. We need someone committed to the game and not Always absent so they can build continuity.
