Discussion my buddy and I are having. Both big athletic wings drafted in the first round by us with seemingly high potential. Both showed flashes with big regular season performances, but never put it together in the league.
Personally, was really high on PJ III's potential and skillset at his size

PJ3, he had that little 3 game stretch in 14-15 where it looked like he could be breaking out
Pj3 and it ain’t even close. I thought he was going to be a budget pg13. I really thought he would average over 10 points per game. Boy was I wrong
Bazely for me. I got all hyped before he even played, the idea of a Presti grabbing a guy already being payed by New Balance?! It *has* to be good!

i had more faith in Baze because of the team situation and him being able to grow, but PJ3 was definitely the more enticing guy coming out. At worst another 6’ 10”+ forward with shooting, at best a PG-lite? (Great comparison from the chatter above) what this team could have been if just one of him or Lamb wasn’t sleepy!
Perry hands down
I remember reading Royce’s dailythunder back in the day and thinking Perry was obviously another star in the waiting. (Same with Reggie Jackson who tbf has had a nice career).
Bazley was after my time really paying close attention to the team. But he would pop up on my fantasy radar and from a box score perspective seemed like a defensive beast. Can’t claim to have watched his era though.
I thought they had a steal when Jones slid to them.
Certainly PJ3, I thought he would be a quality role player. I still think he didn’t get enough opportunities. Bazley was special to me though because I wanted the Thunder to draft him. He was my sleeper of the draft and I couldn’t believe they actually took him. That’s one of the reasons I love the Thunder… Presti often takes the players that I want.
