  1. This news was music to my ears. The balance of the universe has been restored. We're going to be okay with that Lankinen-Silovs tandem. Lankinen is an upgrade from DeSmith. We still need to get Demko back but in the meantime we should be alright

  2. I can see why Lankinens camp was waiting. They see guys like Campbell getting signed and they're thinking we'll Kevin is better than Jack.Jack was a complete bust last year in the NHL and Lankinen was around average. You can't tell me this guy is near the bottom the league. He's way closer to the middle than the bottom. I guess his agent tried to squeeze a bit too much and now Kevin needs to show the league what's up. Sometimes this will be just the thing to give Kevin a chip on his shoulder and come out playing great. Here he was a few days out from pre season and he was the last guy without a deal. He can probably point to a goalie on every team thats going to play NHL games this season and say we'll I'm better than that guy.
