  1. While I am almost entirely happy with this overall because we’re prioritizing Jordan’s long term health, I do think this is a much more losable game for us than people are anticipating. Will need a big game out of the D and run game once more!

  2. D has to step up again. We’re not running for 250 yards against this defense. Our defense has to make it easier on the offense with good field position/turnovers. It’s not gonna be an easy game.

  3. Not too surprising. Have to say I’m just excited that it seems like Jordan Love was actually relatively close to getting cleared for this one and hopefully will be back for a more important divisional matchup against the Vikings next week

  4. Good. Season is long, take another week and be all set to go. Willis might be able to pull out another one!

  5. After the panicdimonium (new word) right after his injury, I think everyone would have signed on the dotted line for 2 missed games.

I sure the Titans will try to put like 13 defenders in the box due to last week and knowing Willis, but hopefully they’ll counter with some play action and kraft up some short throws after a reed of the defense.

  6. If he’s healthy enough to play this is a mistake. The Titans know Malik better than anybody and will stack the hell out of the box.

  7. Damn I was gonna buy tickets tomo for the titans game and drive over … I’ll just watch from home and save some money 😭

  8. This is the right call even though this is going to make tomorrow’s game tougher. Love is too valuable down the stretch to risk him playing before his sprain is ready to be played on

  9. I hate to sound pessimistic, but damn I was really hoping Love would be back for this game because I honestly don’t think we win without him. The Titans defense is way better than that of the Colts. For us to win tomorrow, either Willis has to step up big time because the run game won’t be nearly as dominant as it was last week, or the defense has to put up an absolute masterclass of a performance.

  10. Need a big game from the defense BUT worst case scenario 1-2 isn’t the worst start with your starting QB injured. I figured if Willis could win us at least a game we’d be okay

  11. I’d love a dub, but we get through tomorrow without any injuries and I am good letting Love heal up another week and be happy for it.

  12. Given Rapaport said it would be 5 weeks for the injury, I’m not putting much stock in this.

  13. Pretty bummed. I think this is going to be a really tough game without Love. But if he isn’t ready, he isn’t ready. I trust that MLF will have expanded the gameplan for Willis. Now he’s just got to go out and execute the same way he did last week with more on his plate.

  14. Man, week 1 just sucks. Losing such a winnable game and Love.

Wish Week 1 would be for out of conference games so players could get right before the games truly count.

  15. Booooo they did the thing I wanted them to do in the first place but I let myself get hyped and now I’m a little let down!!

In all seriousness, Love is our leader and star and when he and the medical staff agree that he is ready, I’m ready. Also, a Week 4 return to obliterate the Vikings at home sounds like a great section in the short film that’s going to be made about our Super Bowl this year. Just sayin

  16. Y’all need to Malik it easy. Dudes got enough game sense to keep a puke covered ball tucked in scramble mode rather than force a sloppy throw. Let him earn his revenge. We gonna win tomorrow, 0 doubt

  17. Smart! No need to pull an RGIII with the Redskins and ruin his career in a meaningless game when not fully healthy. For real though forever fuck Mike Shanahan for that! There was no reason to have RGIII play in that game! They weren’t going anywhere in the playoffs and Cousins was playing great ball. So dumb! Glad the Pack seem to have learned from that gaffe!

  18. This could be a great “gel” game for us. As in – you don’t have a top 15 QB playing for you. Can you, as a team, come together to learn to win without that advantage?
