Fleeceman luls.
that’s going to be triple the number of games deGrom pitches in
Nationals and Rangers both got rings with Scherzer. And the Mets got Luisangel for signing and trading him. Are any of those teams unhappy?
Bag HoF
The rare win-win-win scenario for each team paying one single guy
Iβm in the wrong industryβ¦
hell yeah fuck them billionaires
Nothing like guaranteed money.
$15M Nats – Deferred payment each year through 2028.
$31M Mets – Covering annual salary when they traded him to the Rangers.
$13M Rangers – I guess they’ll never know.
Seeing how Acuna is playing Id call it $30mil well spent!
2 of those teams won the World Series. The money is all worth it at that point
Sure but he was eating ramen all those years with the Nats before
Yah, that shouldn’t be allowed. Haha
I’d be smiling too.
Man some people really got it awful
Breaking news: injured player still entitled to guaranteed salary
That is fucking amazing.

Love tweets that attempt to make players seem like the greedy and overpaid party.
Goody for you Max. Glad you got yours.
2/3 of those teams got a WS in exchange. So this means AcuΓ±a is gonna be huge in our WS run.
Easy come up son
7.3 million per start.
I’d love to see the breakdown per pitch.
Get it, king.
My favorite part about this is that each team absolutely has a case for a βhow the fuck did you let this happenβ
Wasn’t this the guy who, during the MLBPA contract talks in the off-season, said that he was speaking on behalf of the small market teams, etc. Sure Max.
Well, out of the three teams, the Rangers paid him the least and got the most out of him this year. Not the best value for the 12.5 mil, but it could be worse.
Werth it
Money in sports is absurd
Get that bag, king
But letβs talk about Bonilla day and Griffey being 3rd on the reds payroll a little more π
he’s a forty-year-old surefire Hall of Famer pitching on his last legs, i’m not sure what you were expecting. Verlander and Kershaw haven’t exactly been lighting it up either, but they’re still the three greatest pitchers of the last fifteen years. he was worth the money when the contracts were given out
