  1. They won’t trade Fowler because he’s a good prospect, but also he dream about playing in Montreal. You just don’t trade a good prospect who wants to play for your team.

  2. Ridiculous rumours created by some sports journalists that want to get attention. These overblown rumours just waste time. Maybe the Predators wanted Fowler and maybe they wanted JS or Dach. WHY WASTE TIME AND SPACE with rumours that have no merit other than someone stirring the pot. Hey. I understand the leafs wanted CC and Laine for Marner.

  3. Let's wait and see how things shake out …!! Who know what players will Excell…and ..who might flop .!! Hughes has a plan …and a sharp mind ..! Let's trust his next move ..!! He wants to WIN …more than most people might think .!! Keep being patient .. let the PLAYERS ..force management's hand ..!! Go Habs GO…

  4. What other teams are asking for only shows how good the prospects are.

I would only trade Fowler who is still 1-2-3 years away, if Habs were already in contention and already had a clear number 1 in net.

Askarov is unproven at NHL, as is Fowler.

Waiting to see if Fowler hits that s playing with house money, don’t gamble it on a lateral move, trade up for talent or down for cap not sideways for sake of trading

Habs likely willing to move Primeau for Askarov

That move could make sense as both Askarov and Fowler have more potential than Primeau

  5. It would be great if the media could swap the word pressure with the word passion when they talk about MTL. Nobody puts pressure on the players more than they put on themselves. Fans in MTL are passionately attached to their team. It can be perceived as pressure, but we are the same fans that do standing ovations at the last game of a season even if the team finished near the bottom 3 years in a row.

  6. Great show guys! I love to see Laine-Dach-Armia in practice sessions and see if they have chemistry, Armi is good at going into the corners and getting the puck. it would make Newhook available as 3rd line C. GO HABS GO!

  7. I would love to see Kent gradually move out Armia, Anderson, Dvorak and bring in our young talented prospects. Now is the time to give them the opportunity to learn at the NHL level. They can make mistakes and not affect the season. In 2-3 years they’ll be ready.

  8. I really see Roy Newhook Armia as our third line next year. Demidov will hopefully be an excellent fit with Dach Laine. That gives us 3 excellent lines with the option of have Florian Owen Luke filling in the douer line ….

    Slav Suzuki Canfield
    Demidov Dach Laine
    Roy Newhook Armia
    Xjekai Beck Tuke

    Wow

  9. I've always liked Armia as he showed up in some games & was dominant & now he's showing every game & can produce more consistently so I hope the Habs hold off on any moves on Armia so he has a chance to show whether the later part of last season was [NO FLUKE]. Armia is a big frame, strong along the boards & the Puck is stuck to him like a Magnet on his stick handling so I hope he shows up early this year with what he showed us in the later last year?

  10. I love Arpon Basu's takes as much as i love to hate them, cause he so often misses the target after initially aiming right at the bullseye. If we're out of a playoff run again, first defender to get traded out is Mike Matheson, not the one Veteran/mentor who can line up with Hutson and help him grow key areas of his game (and who also happens to love Montreal as much if not even more than Armia). We would then queue in either Mailloux or Reinbacher to be paired with Guhle coming back to the left side.

  11. Hughes has his "untouchables". Keeping your prospects confident that if they work hard they will move up the Habs prospect pool keeps the prospects confident and focused. B prospects+ picks and aging Bergevin acquisitions are the only trade considerations at this stage for any player Habs want to acquire
