The team died when herbert did
Hard to win games that you lose Herbert, Alt, Slater and Bosa (he made it one fuckin snap) and you don’t cover the middle of the field?
Fields is ass outside the numbers and the middle of the fuckin field is wide open all game.
Bizarre.
Also, Derius Davis needs to wake the fuck up. He’s been shit all year.
Fuck Cam Heyward.
Well that sucked.
We were never going to go undefeated and if Harbaugh can use this to motivate the team the loss may have a silver lining. Obviously that logic changes if any of these injuries are season-ending.
I fucking hate Chargers football
Lost a winnable game and are now fucked by injuries for the KC game. Awesome.
People can certainly be upset but the truth is this isn’t that talented of a team. It’s a partial rebuild and you can at least take solace a lot of the afc looks like shit too.
Rest Herbert next week and bring him back after the bye. No reason to keep trotting him out there and prolonging his recovery.
We lost a bunch key guys today 😢
I’m not mad we lost, I’m upset we got so many injuries
Frustrating game. Just hoping Alt, Bosa and Herbie are okay. Didn’t think I was gonna be grateful for a Week 5 bye week. Growing pains and the third quarter killed everything.
Edit: yes Slater too
Rough game at the end. But I still stand that we look fucking amazing considering the fact that it’s a rebuilding year. Now let’s just hope all our starters can heal quickly
Fire Brandon Staley
Unbelievable to lose almost all your star players in one game.
That was rough…
Maybe the week 5 bye week was a blessing in disguise.
Bolt Up
Unraveled the moment Herbert got injured. You can tell the energy fell out of both sides of the ball.
We lost 20-10. It felt a lot worse than that.
After that QJ touchdown I thought the game will go differently
The loss doesn’t hurt as much as the critical injuries. Hoping it’s a speedy recovery for Herbie, Alt, and Slater.
Ben Herbert better bust out all his bands and massage guns.
Like how Roman abandoned the only thing he’s good at in the game where Herbert’s mobility was limited
Trey Pipkins is so bad he whiffed his man so badly that he was going fast enough to injure Alt.
Optimistic take: we look a lot better than the previous years under Staley
Hard to beat the Steelers when you lose your QB, both offensive tackles and your DE. Not a bad loss. Hope everyone recovers soon.
Steelers could have scored again at the end and took knees instead. Classy team.
Bring the boys home, let them rest up. If Herbert doesn’t play against KC, then he doesn’t. If we take an L, oh well. They’re under a new regime, kinks are still being worked out. This team today, is not the team we have next season. Now I’m not wishing for losses, I always want to win. Whatever happens, happens. I’m still behind our boys.
Reminded me so much of that jags game a couple years back, totally unraveled and a bunch of bullshit injuries Smfh
prayers up for Herbert, Alt, Slater, and Bosa 🙏
Do not sacrifice your mental health for this team. At the end of the day Personnel and players get paid regardless of performance. Us as fans dont get anything in return whether they win or lose.
