  1. Watching that second half was miserable. Defense kept getting stop after stop and offense kept following it up with 3&outs just like we all predicted.

That bullshit call that swung the game by 14 points is unacceptable. It wasn’t the only reason we lost but when you’re already the underdog it’s almost impossible to win when something that brutal happens. Sucks

  2. What kills me is what we left on the field. I really want Kyler to stop trying to win the game on single plays. The passes for 10+ when we only need 2-3. The 2nd 3 INT to Marc. Him falling forward. I really want to see him take the game a first down at a time.

The positive is we have held Buffalo and Detroit to one score games.

Lastly, for god sakes Cardinals fans, STOP SELLING YOUR TICKETS.

  3. All momentum was sucked from the team when we punted on 4th and 1 on the second drive. Terrible call then, and even more so at the end.

  4. And now Murray will get a bunch of hate and blamed for everything. It was one bad game in multiple areas. I’m not worried.

  5. It’s like the offense said “all that motion, sets, and plays we did in week 2 worked too good, let’s throw it all in the trash”

  6. Bad decision making and errant throws from Kyler, receivers not named Wilson lubed up their fingers, couldn’t run the ball. Defense was surprisingly good though.

  7. Encouraged by the defense. Didn’t like how they started but shut them out the second half. Fuck that 2mins warning ref call.

Offensive disappointment. Bad protection and lack of run play lead to a rattled and inaccurate Kyler. Petzing abandoned the run way too early. No play action the whole second half which has been our bread and butter.

We played 3 playoff teams to start the schedule which is rough but we need to win next week against the Commanders.

  8. That 2 minute warning call had such a massive impact on the flow and result of the game.

    Diabolical decision.

  9. Offense fell flat after a great first two games. Defense started our rough but adjusted nicely. No points given up in the second half usually should be an indication of a winning team. The INTs, especially the one too MHJ was just terrible and a huge game changer.

Another sad day of AZ sports.

  10. We’ve hung with two top 5 teams and blew out a mid tier team. A lot can be improved but for being in early rebuild stage, this ain’t really that bad.

  11. We kept the lions scoreless in the 2nd half. We had a good amount of chances but the right side of the line being a turnstile, drops, and poor decisions was the game. Obv 2min call was highly sus, but we had chances so it is what it is.

  12. Defense stepped up and played really well.

Kyler and Petzing played/called some of the worst football I’ve seen. No adjusting to the lack of run game and Kyler just chucks it up too much.

Kyler also needs to learn to stay composed and play his game. He didn’t scramble one time during the 4th quarter, he is a fast player and gains value with his legs. If he isn’t running he’s not too much of a threat since his pocket passing isn’t that good.

Overall some good, mostly bad and we need the offense to wake up if we want to be a competitive team this season.

  13. Yeah this game was on the offense. Defense didn’t play great but did enough to win if the offense plays normally. Kyler had prob the worst game of his career today and the offense was horrendous.

The refs didn’t help but there were so many missed opportunities this game, lions are a good team and you gotta take advantage of the chances they give you if you wanna beat a good team.

  14. I don’t care what anyone says, the rebuild is over and I have high expectations for this team as the season goes on.

  15. No room for error when you’re playing a good team like the lions and we made too many mistakes. Kyler lost his mental focus once he forced that deep interception and started spiraling. Harrison needs to work on his hands. He had some catchable balls that could have started some momentum. Tough week. Got to get that short memory, and get that focus back. Big props to the D for hanging tough.

  16. Unpopular but I think we did pretty well against a really good lions team. Kyler and Marv gotta work on timing (and Kyler throwing too high). If the rams game made you think our defense isn’t ass you got fooled.

That said if I’m monti I’ve seen enough from this team to spend all the money in free agency/draft to bolster both lines

  17. Touch watch, that 2 minute warning fiasco really hurt in the moment and still hurts now. The hopium says we played really close with two Super Bowl contenders and could be 3-0. The realistic side says that we can’t close it out against good teams and even if we make a miracle wild card spot it would be short lived. Glad to see our defense stepping up, but the Arizona cardinals need to learn how to play a complete game of football. One side always crumbles under the pressure when we need them the most.

  18. We are the lions before they become this good. A scrappy team fighting for every inch. Things will click. Just need to keep getting the right pieces.

  19. We’ve lost both of our games by a score to playoff and potential SB-bound teams, I think we’ll be fine.

  20. The key thing we can take from this is we held a Super Bowl contending team to 20-13 are future is very bright

  21. That was a first down run by Kyler. The replay angles were not “synced up” like the broadcast said they were. You could see his shin hitting the ground when his arm was already extended with the ball. At the very most it should have stood without undeniable evidence that it wasn’t across the line to gain.

  22. Just gotta be patient. Frustrating loss and the play calling was iffy at times, but Detroit’s a legit SB type team. Honestly more than anything the defense did well against then sans the start and that 3rd and 12 at the end.

Reality is the Cards are still a 7-10 to 9-8 type team and next year is the year to really go for. More or less some of Kyler’s overthrows concerned me the most about today, but gotta recognize Kyler and Marv is a work in progress still.

  23. lol the team we decimated last week just beat the niners. I think that due to the personnel we have and how green some of our coordinators are we are moving in the right direction and we should be impressed with how this team has been playing as “we weren’t going to make the playoffs” anyway unless everything went our way. Now I do believe that if we get our shit together we will be a playoff team once Robinson comes back and we bolster our Dline. I won’t fully judge k1 as harshly as Hutchinson and missing his RT probably sped up his internal clock, still had a terrible game tho.

  24. Please lock Drew Petzing in the film room and make him come up with different routes. That second half was unwatchable

  25. Pure self inflicted loss.

Always snatching at big plays from MHJ when the defence had him covered, If those mistakes had been FGs it would’ve come down to 1 pt.. The defence was holding the Lion at bay an the offense pissed it away on big plays.

The criticism falls on Petzing here **again,** another game against a playoff team, another offence stall and dumb choices.

  26. If you accept that the cardinals are rebuilding and are a pretty good young team right now, but not at the level of the top NFC teams, these losses are easier to stomach.

  27. Havs our secondary made any plays this year?? Feeels like every time the opposing team catches the ball, our dbs are like 5 yards away
