I’m tired boss.
I hope AP takes accountability for this loss
Well, Raider football is back.
It’s finally over.
Horrible game top to bottom. Embarrassing. Whatever everyone predicted Dalton was gonna do, happened
Before everyone freaks out, let me just say this. Luke Getsy may not be creative, he may not game plan well, he may not understand defenses, he may not be a good coordinator.
Luke Getsy is a football terrorist
ive already lost interest.
Yea GETSY gots to go. Run, run, pass ain’t working.
Someday this franchise will reward us in happiness
Today is not that day
Raiders gotta lead the league in meme losses the last three years
Ill intent, no physicality, and a shit team
I don’t mind losing because it is the nfl. Teams lose unexpectedly. But holy fuck, the game wasn’t even competitive. Not even a little bit. Luckily it’s just one loss, but that’s twice now where the team came out completely flat against what should be inferior opponents.
First question from the media should be “Antonio, what was the backup plan if Zamir White running into the line of scrimmage every play didn’t work?”
That was straight up not fun to watch at all
Home opener baby. I don’t wanna hear any more BS about Las Vegas not showing up. That shit needs to be earned.
So let’s take stock of where we’re at: we have two halves of a half-decent QB2, a offensive scheme run by the Cowardly Lion from Wizard of Oz who wouldn’t know what to do with a QB if he had one, a run game that is consistently told to put the round peg in the square hole, and a head coach who was given this leaking bucket of sand which is our team and instructed to put out a train fire with it. Sound about right?
Get Getsy down the fucking road yesterday. Put AP on the hot seat and remind him that we didn’t hire him to coach the Raiderettes so all the cheerleading platitudes sum to the square root of dick if we don’t show up on the field. And for the love of god figure out how to play to what marginal strengths our QB and running game do have.
The whole point of keeping Pierce was his ability to get consistent effort out of the team and having them play mostly mistake free. This loss is as bad as any McDaniels had, and while I do think Getsy is a bad OC, I’m going to put the blame on the man who hired him. Heartless, gutless, and totally inexcusable blowout loss to a team that was playing well below the rest of the league.
Well, it was a fun week after the ravens win…back to our regular scheduled programming. See yall next weekend.
Well, I predicted to be 1-2 at this point. Though I never would’ve guessed it would be a Ravens W and Panthers embarrassment loss. Also, this schedule seemed nice coming into the year but god damn it looks rough:
The Browns are pissed and Cooper is on fire right now
The donkeys look competent
Then it’s Steelers, Chiefs, Rams, Dolphins (in Miami)
Pray for 5-5
We suck
Anyone catch the hot mic after the Minshew INT “How fucking dumb are you?”
We have 2 back up QBs on the roster. Can’t win with these cats
I’m fucking done with this poverty franchise. See you all next week!
It hurts much less when you let go of all expectations. The second I saw they benched Young for Dalton, I knew the potential for this was there.
Marvin Lewis knows everything about Andy Dalton, tho lol. Maga Maxx got handled again and Maga Minshew looked like a little boy out there for most of this one. Morale is low in Raider Nation, but remember guys… it’s just football. Don’t let it fuck up your Sunday too much.
I have motherfuckers texting me asking if I’m okay, that’s how embarrassing this shit is. There needs to be drastic changes, if this isn’t a wake up call for everyone on the coaching staff and the players then there needs to be change.
If Davante is going to drop half of the balls thrown to him then trade him. If Zamir has the vision of Ray Charles then bench him. If Minshew is going to hold onto the ball and dance around the pocket like a ballerina then bench him. If Getsy is going to be actually mentally retarded then fire him and call up Scott Turner to run the offense. Brock Bowers, I love you.
You asked Raider Nation to show up and end up giving us that? Embarrassing
I hope, for the sake of the nation, that I’m not only one that saw this coming. The Raiders are every teams “get right game”. And that’s pathetic. Fix that first.
AP in the presser about the team’s effort
“Saw some guys out there making business decisions so we’re gonna go back and make some business decisions too”
AP was just asked “what are some positives you can take away” his immediate response. “Nothing” Man doesn’t mince words and some business decisions will be made.
How about next year we just go with guest coaches all year. Maybe a celebrity coach one week, raffle off a week, have a Madden competition winner gets the KC game.
Seriously tho, Fields is leading a 3-0 team and Getsy is calling 3-out drives
The guys at Georgia knew how to get Bowers the ball…apparently Getsy needs to go talk to the Georgia staff
4 catches for Bowers is a crime.
Hiring Getsy after failing miserably in Chicago is looking really bad rn.
Non serious franchise
The other thing I hate about getsy is this outdated idea that you have to establish the run to pass. You can pass to establish the run. If the run game isn’t working use swing passes and wr screens like a competent football team.
I’m 45 and I start wondering if this damn team will ever be relevant before I die.
This is truly a PATHETIC franchise. The past 20 or so years have been a massive steaming pile of shit sitting on top of the legacy of a once great team. The fact players like Maxx Crosby were threatening to find a trade if we didn’t hire Pierce is so laughable.
