I’m gonna go drive into a lake. brb.
Now I am on the “~~Tyler Kinley~~ His replacement is a fukin bum” train as much as anyone else, but sending out the rookie two days in a row seems super questionable.
That was awful.
Anyways, now I have to stay off of the non-rockies subreddits and instagram pages for the next 48 hours to avoid Dodgers fans fellating themselves.
All the San Diego fans here, I hope you destroy them the next few days, and I hope we can help you out next weekend.
edit: I couldn’t stay away and am getting downvoted like crazy in some r/baseball and r/mlb threads. Not the first time Dodger fans showed thin skin
Would have been our first series win against LA in 3 years. Instead they give back to back HRs and blow it.
Why am I surprised?
As disappointing as it was that we lost and didn’t help the Padres (not that THAT matters much to me. Postseason whole nother beast regardless of where you start in it)…
It was nice to see Bud continue to get the Rookie Relief force playing time.
I also didn’t mind Halvorsen coming in to face the top of the Dodgers order. I mean, remember when they called up Chivilli from double a?
Team challenged him, he struggled, adjusted, and is now looking like a solid piece for the Rockies.
Hal got challenged here and struggled in his second try at closing, but it won’t be the last time we see him coming in to close the game nor should it be the last. Kinley can be the guy they call on if he can’t get the job done or isn’t well rested IMO.
Fucking wow.
Bullpen back to bullpen shitty again man thiugh thry turn thr corner
Atleast it was quick….
lol. Rockies baseball in a nutshell.
I hope the Dodgers get tuckered out for their annual playoff loss
It was 5-1 late when I checked the score. Imagine my total lack of surprise to see that the bullpen blew it late and they lost yet another series to the dodgers.
Also 17 at bat strikeouts. 45 in the series. Just wow. But it’s just “young hitters”, right?
Hill blew 2 leads in 3 games. Gotta love it. The series was ours for the taking
And Buddy put Jaden Hill out there to start the 7th inning because … ?
For the padres man come on!!!😭😭😭
