I think Josh Bloom has a small shot at being an injury call-up this year, but I think that’s his ceiling at this point.
That said, every team would love to have a dozen players at this level in their AHL system.
Nothing surprising
Nothing unexpected here.
Cool to see that Alriksson is getting to hang around for at least a preseason game, unlike basically all of the other junior players. He definitely caught Tocchet’s eye.
It’s a long long road before he’d be NHL ready (if he ever is) but the upside is there. Huge guys typically don’t have hands and skating like he does.
Was kind of wishing that Romani would at least get a game in, but he obviously still has a long way to go before being close to pro level
Also I know we just got Lankinen but Ferguson only lasting 6 days with us is kinda funny
Good practice, kids. Now it’s time for the easiest part of any coach’s job. The cuts. Although I wasn’t able to cut everyone I wanted to, I have cut a lot of you.
We don’t need Ferg on a PTO when we have signed Lankinen
I didn’t even realize Halaburda was on an ATO! Neat! He’s gonna be a big part of the Giants this year.
Cooper walker is a great hockey name
Not surprising but I will say I would have liked to see more from Bloom. If he’s going to be a sleeper or late developer or anything, we’re gonna need to hope to see something from him this year
Any word on Sammy Blais?
Mueller has impressed me. Kids got wheels and smarts. I think he’s got a shot at being a blueger type two way centre
Romani WILL make an impact but this is the path I expected. He is gonna be a bona fide STAR in five years or less 😤👀
Presented by Lululemon ??
Kirill Kuryatsev looked very smooth out there in the scrimmage today. He might end up being one of the last cuts.
question when a player signs a PTO and is not picked up, is there a minimum salary?

Seattle Kraken expansion draft legend, Carsen Twarynski.
