  1. It’s funny how few AZ fans acknowledge that some of the players stopped playing after the whistle. You can’t say Goff wound have thrown the ball or the ball would have been picked if not for the whistle.

  2. The refs were blowing the whistle before the int and return happened. The refs fucked up because the play should have been ran but the result of the play is skewed by the whistle and how players react and let up when they hear the play called dead. There’s not really an argument.

  3. I won’t believe this until I start see the egregious holds and back blocks on Hutch start getting called.

  4. LOL AZ had FIVE first downs by penalty, twelve by rushing and passing combined. 30% of their offense for the game.

  5. Lots of misconceptions on this play by both sides:

    1) the properly synched clock clearly hits two minutes before the snap. This is not debatable at all.

    2) there were multiple whistles before Goff threw the ball whistling the play dead. Again, not debatable

    3) the official on the Cards side of the ball is clearly shown waving the play off by the time he’s in video frame (the ball has just been caught by he Cards). I would like to see the All-22 to see when he first waves it off.

    4) all that being said, there is zero indication that the Lions stopped playing and gave up on the play. I watched the replay on slow-motion multiple times and don’t see any Lion give up prior to the INT. The cards bought pressure and beat them on the right side – two rushers came free and Gibbs had no chance to stop the pressure.

So in summary, this was the right call but the Lions got extremely lucky that the snap was 0.1 seconds too late because they got beat on that play.

  6. To be fair, we had some big calls go our way. We’ve been screwed a million times. Comes around goes around.

  7. Does this mean we admit we “thought” games were called in other team’s favor too and they actually weren’t?

  8. Offense is 5th in the league in yardage and 13th in points. Easy to score 30 points a game instead of 20 and that makes up for everything with a defense ranked 5th in the league. Goff has a passing rating of 79, lowest in his career, he’ll be back and then fuck the refs.

  9. One kind of questionable call in our favor to equal out the 5 million bad calls in our history, sounds about right!
