  1. I mean the players above him are similar to his skill level or ahead of him I’m not mad at it

Most of the players there put up better offensive numbers or similar offensive numbers but way better defensive numbers

Also remember the advanced stats hate do paolo so that could be apart of it too

Dw tho if he takes a leap this season he’ll be multiple spots higher

  2. He’s proven to lead a team to the playoffs after one season and had a lot of upside. Give it time and he’ll be top twenty by the end of the season.

    It’s only his third season.

  3. After this season he’s easily top 15-20, but being top 30 after 2 seasons is still insane tbh. Blows my mind he’s only 21 years old

  4. National TV bias/casual understanding of Paolo & the Magic

    That’s all this is

The 2nd dozen players or so are all similar level. There’s maybe 5 players in that list that are head scratchers for being ahead of Paolo. But this is mostly fine. He’s only in his 3rd year, 1 all-star appearance, 1 playoff appearance, and like 2 national broadcast games that weren’t in the playoffs lol.

  5. He has to be more efficient. If his post season state line was his regular season state line then top 20 no brainer. Top 30 is a beautiful feat.

  6. He’ll be 22 entering his third NBA season. He still has a ton of room to grow and improve and I’m so excited for the future. But I don’t think he’s being disrespected here. Let him earn it. I think he will, but I can’t pretend to be upset about this. It’s less speculative to rank him 29 than it would be to put him at 15. There are a lot of good players that seem to be in a similar tier, and hopefully he breaks out of that tier this year.
