  1. On a serious note I think this would be a great opportunity to move Capela if we really want to start Okongwu going forward.

  2. I think Nance is the more likely trade candidate. Capela probably retires a Hawk at this point.

    Nance for MccBride framework.

  3. Trade Clint, run Okungwu and Nance until Mitch is healthy. Then trade Nance at the deadline

Won’t happen but a big body like Robinson to pair with Okungwu as a center rotation would be heavenly. They both are never healthy, just pray it’s never at the same time

  4. Hate to say it, but the money doesn’t work out. The closest non-Nova Knick salaries are Randle ($28) and Robinson ($14). Capela for Robinson doesn’t work unless they add players/salary, but since we’re at the roster limit and still haven’t signed Djurisic I don’t know why we’d do a trade that adds more players.

Randle for Capela + filler (Roddy?) does work, but we’d need to add draft assets to the deal for NY to agree and that’s before considering whether it’d be a good move for us.

Maybe a third team can come in and help facilitate a trade, but the main problem is that New York doesn’t really have enough tradable salary to make a trade easy
