[La Lima] We just had Astros broadcaster Steve Sparks on with us on @SportsTalk790 and he told me and @SeanUnfiltered that the Astros “dodged a bullet” with Yordan Alvarez’s knee injury. They’ll know more on how sore he is when Yordan gets to the ballpark today.

  1. Knowing the front office, Yordan likely had surgery last night and isn’t expected back till 2027.

  2. Yordan I give you permission to dog it for the rest of the season. Just settle for the single next time dude.

  3. Thank god, now play this man at DH permanently please. Bad knees + huge frame. This should be common sense, we can’t afford to lose him.

Edit: I know it happened trying to stretch a single I’m just saying he should only be DH.

  4. “He’s going to be all right”

“No, his left knee is totally destroyed so he’s going to be all right”
