I think Yainer may be their future 1st baseman. He has pretty good wheels and they may wanna save them
Hader all fast balls.
Diaz has been pathetic zero home runs in a month 10 short from last year
Myers is a joke he sucks
Forrest Whitley did great in a couple of games. Why did he get sent down. I remember him striking out the side
This year's team has definitely been scrappy considering how bad the season started. Getting rid of Abreu and Montero breathed life back into the team to claw their way back. This team definitely isn't the most talented but we definitely made an improvement at catcher. Kudos to all the young pitchers who stepped up and filled in after Javier and Urquidy went down. Instead of relentless maybe resilient is a better way to describe them.
No egg to wipe off my face! Been a fan since 1968….it ain’t over till its over.
With the Rangers miraculous win yesterday, the bullpen picked the right game to implode. Hopefully, it’s out of their system and it doesn’t happen again.
The bullpen is weak….it will definitely be the MAIN cause for Astros not advancing deep into playoffs. Espada doesn't have experience being in charge of critical situations that will arise
If Alvarez is good to go for the playoffs I don't see why the World Series isn't a proably. Each of the other American League playoff teams have weaknesses> The Astros starters and offense are looking good, the bullpen is a concern but what the Astros also have that the other lack or have less of is experience and the intangibles.
I don't know how you don't give them a solid A for the 2nd half of the season. Yeah we are in the softest division but we started this season in a massive hole, being able to dig out of it with all the injuries we have delt with is a major accomplishment and a testament to how good this club operates.
I really hope Yordan is ok but we all know if they aren't saying he will be back this week he's out for the season with a torn ACL.
