I always thought HT would be like San Diego’s Petco Park: build a stadium and then they developed the Gas Lamp District over time. Now the area is revitalized with shopping, dining, and nightlife year round. Close to the convention center and the water. It’s taken time, but it’s been a success. So much fun. Fisher never had the money, creativity, or business sense to pull it off. Oakland Mayors and city councils are also to blame.
