6. Apparently Laine hasn’t had a good camp and that may just be rust from being away for a while. I still believe he’s gonna have a good season if he’s healthy, Once he gets into that packed bell center he’s gonna pop off… Slafkovsky has looked really good so that’s nice to see, Lane Hutson is an absolute beauty, I cannot wait for this season. PRE SEASON TOMORROW! I hope we see Laine and some of the big boys, This is the perfect time to build chemistry so I hope they play.

8. hutson is elusive and his on-ice vision is at a level the habs haven't seen in decades. these are the skills that will set him apart.

   subban was physical and had a cannon from the point. in that way, he was more like logan mailloux. subban was also a rusher, which i don't think mailloux is, but he's not really all that similar to hutson.

13. Only for hype, protectable ticket sales, but so far? He has quickness and elite moves, but can’t really shoot and has suspect flat-out speed. He can still bulk up, and build these qualities though. He has to be nurtured,and learn more about protecting himself.

He's no Arber…he's not gonna rip a 108 mph slapshot, he's not gonna crush anyone into the boards, he's not gonna put the knuckles to anyone…his offensive zone ballet is about all he's got and it says he's 5'9" 158 lbs on the Habs site, the 5'10" thing was a bluff by the college team from what I heard (muscled up his legs though). I'll wait for Demidov and Hage, then it's a whole new ball game. Watch out Blue Jays!

28. lane hutson has already won the fanbase last year. this year they love him before rookie camp. St-Louis won't send him on the top pair because he needs more experience against the best players in the world but a second pairing is still killer. fans will need to chill

37. honnestly i am trill to see lane hutson , he might be small but his hockey iq is phenomenal .He will make good play and make others look good , the little problem its his size , big players will make him theire target

38. 2 things about Hutson = I’ll be on the edge of my seat every time he touches the puck in the O zone, and scared shitless every time he has a forechecker hunting him down in our D zone. It’s either a Calder cup run, or he gets injured early in the season. I hope the Habs play him with Savard, and Sasquatch gets defensive puck retrievals assignments.
