I believe Orelvis will be traded.
I was not a fan of Orelvis even before the suspension with a super high K rate in AAA and his entire minor league career. Plus no defense. Now if he got those high Ks even with enhancement help I am not sure drug free he will be much of an MLB player!
His career is over. Name a MLB player caught for using PEDs that continued to have a successful career? Remember Chris Colabello? And he was on the MLB roster. Martinez has to leapfrog ahead of the logjam at 2nd ? Ahead of Horowitz, Wagner, Schneider, Jimenez and the other prospects that are not users? Ya ok lol.
If Jays play any part of next season with Vlad at 3rd, Martinez at 2nd and Horwitz at 1st that just screams last place in the east again.
When Martinez was struggling last year with the bisons, I suspect the PED’s came on board during last off-season hence the sudden resurgence this year. It’ll be interesting to see if he can match that performance now that he is off the PED’s. Remember Colabello, he came out of nowhere then got busted for PED’s and was never seen again.
