  1. They are not trading him for anything less than a first. Hes on rookie contract he can sit learn and put on some damn muscle. Hes personality isnt going to effect the locker room being on the bench. There is no upside to trading him for a mid round pick

  2. That boy needs to leave as soon as possible. Before it destroys his confidence. I don't know how long he can stand there pretending like everything's okay. That can wear on a person

  3. I hear the perspective here but you wonder if the Panthers FO sees what the Pats are doing with Maye and see how all those QBs you mentioned here ended up and thinks to themselves, “hmm maybe with some development he can evolve into a competent QB.” It would certainly open up the potential for Tepper to save face which I find it difficult imagining he wouldn’t want to. With understanding given to the confidence shaking being benched must bring up, I still can see a world where BY starts as QB again for the panthers.

From a purely competitive standpoint there’s also an argument to be made for it. Panthers get high draft picks for another year or two which they then use to build out the team around him, if he becomes a halfway competent QB by then, all of a sudden you’ve got a serious team on your hands for the foreseeable future. I mean, look at the Lions. Goff isn’t a Rodgers, or a Cousins, or anybody close to that level. That team is still going to terrorize the NFCN for years to come because he’s serviceable and he’s got the tools around him to do well enough to win games and make it to NFC championships as we’ve seen.

  4. Never been a believer in Bryce but from his perspective, I think the Rams would be the best place for him. Sit behind Stafford for two years and fully reset, if anyone could get the best out of him i think it would be McVay.

  5. Bryce can't play. I've watched every game. If we could only trade him straight up to the Raiders for Davante. They missed out in the draft on a qb and Davante needs a qb to get him the rock….like Rifle did with aj greene. He's clearly frustrated and we have a solution. They get they qb of the future and we get a Hall of Famer. Fair trade
