Rowdy Tellez was 4 at bats short of getting a 200k bonus and the class less Pirates DFA’d with about a week left in the season.
I’ll put this into perspective. Lorenzo Cain was pretty useless his last year with the Brewers but they waited until he hit 10 years of service time so he could get a full pension. This is how you build good relations with your players.
Btw the pirates should have kept him for this series cause we are going to stomp them this series. Rowdy could have come in and pitched.

That is fucked up. I’m married to a Pirates fan and I have her as close to converting as ever after this lol.
What a load of shit, he’s as good as he was last year (which admittedly isn’t great, but on par with Jake Bauers this year). Wonder if he’s got enough service time to refuse the assignment and we get him on waivers and get him the 4 PA against the Pirates Thursday.
