  1. Too many aggressive throws. We need to at minimum, double the completions behind the blue line. /s

  2. I am by no means defending Waldron with what I am about to say, but he is clearly calling pass plays in the middle of the field (MoF). All week since the game thread all I have been seeing people say is Waldron *never* calls routes over the MoF.

I think Waldron’s biggest issues as a play caller is personnel usage and lack of rhythm/flow. The calls seemed picked at random, as well as the personnel groupings. But…

He can scheme up some nice looking plays that consistently get receivers open. If he can get on the same page with Chris Morgan and clean up the blocking scheme on runs and pass pro (it isn’t unheard of for this to happen during a season), then I think the Bears and Caleb will be just fine. Just a matter of how fast can they get it togther.

  3. This is the passing chart of a BEARS QB…and it’s just his third game. We’d have killed for this even in garbage time, not that long ago. Ya’ll need to find on some chill.

  4. CHGO talking about this today and comparing his passing chart to Jayden and to fields. Pretty crazy to be honest. He’s using the whole field and all three levels. Gotta connect on some of the deeper routes but I’m hoping that comes with more reps and getting better with the timing with his receivers

  5. On 9/19/1998 Peyton Manning played his 3rd pro game. In a 44-6 loss, his stats were 20/44 193yds, 45.5% comp, 0 td 2 int 1 sack, 39.3qbr.

Calm down and let him develop under this incredible coaching staff ya’ll

  6. I love Caleb but idk if I can handle any more discourse this week. See you all for the breakout game Sunday.

  7. Would be curious to see how this compares to our offense last year. This feels like a way better balanced passing attack than I’ve seen in years!

  8. Bodes well that there are completions everywhere, short and medium, left right center. Some QBs suck at one side vs the other. I wanna say I just saw a chart for Dak where he is way better on the left sideline than the right.
