I think, we, collectively, could tone down the doomerism, yeah, we could be playing better, Mahomes is in a slump, Reid/Nagy somewhat too, Kelce finally looks his age, but even so, back to back champions, 3 in 5 years, just enjoy the ride.
Would the 3peat be awesome? For fucking sure. Should we count this season as a failure and say the team sucks, etc etc? Nah. Enjoy the season, we’ll have our fair share of highlights in the regular season, come playoffs the team most likely will level up.
Let the saltiness go. Have fun watching our rivals lose or some underdogs come back as good and fun teams (Washington, Vikings, even the Jets).
