The NHL Foundation and PWHL celebrate the release of ‘Inside Out 2’
At an exclusive screening of Disney Pixar’s box office hit ‘Inside Out 2’ this summer, the NHL Foundation and PWHL hosted 100 girls and boys from five different hockey teams and NHL/NHLPA Learn to Play programs. The kids came together to celebrate hockey with Team USA Olympic gold medalist and NHL Foundation ambassador Haley Skarupa and PWHL New York player Madison Packer.
The NHL Foundation received a $75,000 donation from the Congressional Hockey Challenge charity game. The funds will go toward the Empowerment Grant Program for Girls Hockey to support nonprofits across the U.S. dedicated to growing the game for girls and women.
