I’m way too young to have a complete understanding of these, especially the more niche ones like these, but I will say that Pospisil is absolutely fucking rapid

It’s gotta be Byron. He was/is bonkers fast. Lombardi has a greater legacy with the Flames, but I think Byron edges him out for pure speed.
Lombo for sure. Pretty sure he had cement in his gloves though. My favourite player during that time!
Matt Lombardi, but he also looked even faster because he played in an era where guys were bulkier, so maybe Byron is actually faster in the speedier era

I’ll mention a name people might’ve forgotten, Chuck Kobasew. I believe he won the fastest flame at the skills competition a few years in a row in the late 00’s.
That was wild having both Lombardi and Donovan in the same lineup.
Both were fast but Lombardi had better acceleration and cornering. Donovan was really fast north-south though.
Rico Fata could skate like the wind. Sometimes.

the dark horse is Joe colborne.
I remember he was right up with McDavid in the league in terms of most time spent at or above 30 km/h
