I feel like I follow the farm closely and most of the Cubs pitchers feel made up.
I may be overthinking this, but does this mean that the Cubs haven’t given up on Ballesteros at Catcher (to whatever degree)?
I personally wouldn’t send a 20 year old who succeeded at Triple A to the AFL unless it was to give him more experience for defensive reasons. I would take the massive win for his development this season and call it a day.

Cowles’ season was thought to be over at one point, so it’s cool to see the trade acquisition get some play.
