i was in oak for 2 of the 3 games when we swept them in 2016 (lester, arrieta, hendricks).
ricketts was there and i went and spoke with him between innings at one point – cubs fans where i was sitting didn’t know who he was. after i told a bunch, everyone was asking for selfies with him. haha
we played them in oakland in:
* 2013: 1-2 * 2016: 3-0 sweep * 2023: 3-0 sweep
last year, the day after we swept the a’s, fjf announced the team was moving to vegas… we swept them so hard that they had to leave oakland.
