  1. If you didn’t love that, then you don’t love Twins baseball!

Peak 2024 Minnesota Twins loss right there.

  2. * Lurking Tigers fans: I don’t think any twins fans hate you guys right now. Twins’ collapse has been a slow and pathetic bleed, and there was never a rivalry aspect to it. Y’all got hot at the right time and it’s paying off, good job by the team.

    * Lurking Royals fans: same thing, really. Y’all made moves in the offseason and the Twins didn’t. It was shit on here at the time and it is shit on now. Again, y’all deserved it more.

    * Lurking Cleveland fans: y’all have too good of a bullpen to care about us, enjoy your burning river and dogshit POS piece of shit QB. .

    * Lurking Marlins fans: you exist??

    * Twins fans: what’s your favorite brand of bleach? I’m sporting Clorox at the moment

    Skol

  3. During this collapse, I’ve held pretty firm in my belief that this about an even distribution in terms of who to blame. 25% each to ownership, front office, coaching staff and players.

The more digging I’ve done (and after that clusterfuck of a game), the offense definitely deserves most of the blame.

Offensive ranks since the collapse began on August 18th:

    .230 AVG (22nd in MLB)

    .650 OPS (27th)

    .356 SLG (28th)

    86 WRC+ (23rd)

    130 runs scored (25th)

Fire the hitting coaches. We’re done with this months long slump bullshit.

  4. Closing time, one last call for alcohol
So, finish your whiskey or beer
Closing time, you don’t have to go home
    But you can’t stay here

  5. 12-24 to finish the season after having a top 5-6 record in baseball for months LMAO what a fucking choke job. Embarrassment of an organization

  6. Why is everyone so down? We have one wild card series win to show for the last 20+ years. That’s pretty good, right?

  7. How did we go from the worse team in baseball to the best team in baseball (offensively) back to worse team in baseball

  8. I will blame ownership as much as the next person, but the players themselves blew this too. Pretty much every single player has failed to execute down the stretch. This game is a perfect example

  9. We lost a series with playoffs on the line to a team that struggled to make every routine play, including the last one that drove the dagger.

  10. Guys, there’s still a chance! All the Twins have to do is sweep the Orioles and either have the Braves sweep the Royal or have the White Sox sweep the Tigers! ^l ^^wanna ^^^die

  11. Before the season, DSP said that they projected a >10% attendance increase in 2024 over 2023. Instead, attendance is down because ownership killed any and all enthusiasm generated by last years playoff run through their payroll and TV bullshit.

Get ready for more “right sizing” because “our revenues were lower than expected”. We had a good run for a bit, but this team has no future.

  12. Right sized this team right out of the playoffs. It’s a shame considering where we were a year ago.

  13. People will talk about fire Rocco etc. but this team couldn’t hit with RISP when their season literally depended on it. The pohlads hold all blame for being cheap.

  14. I was apathetic in November 2023 about this season. Why on earth would you come out publicly, immediately after your franchise’s first postseason success in literally 2 fucking decades, and announce you will be cutting payroll? Most disenfranchised I’ve ever felt coming into a season. And I’ve been a fan since I was 6-7 years old during the 1987 season!
