With announcing his retirement, Charlie Blackmon ends one of the greatest careers in Colorado Rockies history. Someday soon, his #19 will be put on display beyond center field. Starting in 2025, for the first time in over a decade, the crowd will not have "Your Love" to sing along to, but it doesn't have to be that way!
This petition is to honor a Rockies legend and save a fan-favorite tradition by continue having "Your Love" by The Outfield played at Coors Field. Regardless of who is atop the lineup each game, the bottom of the 1st should begin with the leadoff batter stepping to the plate to "Your Love," just like Charlie has done for so long. That batter's normal walk-up song will be used for subsequent at-bats the rest of the game, but to lead off the game, it starts with a Coors Field tradition that honors one of its all-time greats.
