GOAT things
Hopefully judge joins him this year, he needs 8 more with 3 games left
He’s also now only 7 points behind Arraez for the Triple Crown… with Arraez being ice cold
I can’t believe it’s even a possibility
These Ohtani historic accomplishment threads all look the same
He is on 🔥 Shohei gets to 400 total bases on a bloop double cause they were playing him like a guy with almost 400 total bases.
I was actually kinda shocked that Judge didn’t get there first, but I guess (a) he’s been getting walked much more and (b) Ohtani has more PA due to batting leadoff.
We really had four players get 400 bases in 2001 then no one again for 23 years
Ohtani’s also at 97 extra-base hits, which gives him a chance to be the first player with 100 extra-base hits since 2001 as well.
Judge is at 95, FYI
He’s the runaway MVP without the Triple Crown too
He’s only 10 away from 200 hits also, lol
With an absurd last few games
– 50+ homers 50+ stolen bases
– 400 total bases 200 hits
– 125+ RBIs and runs
– Nearly a triple crown too
– historic base stealing %
🥴
5 extra base hits away from 100. A 100 Hasn’t happen since 2001.
Let’s name names
Everyday I wake up glad that Ohtani is in one league and Judge in the other so we don’t have to have the most painful MVP debate ever

I hate… that he’s not a Padre. He’s unreal.
… and I can’t even get to second base.
Season for the ages is a quite the understatement
