  1. I don't think people realize that Wemby is going to play more minutes this year and the Spurs defense will be better because of it. In April Wemby had a 99 defensive rating, they also have Sochan and Castle now. They have vets that will keep them focused. They will finish a top ten defense this year, they will be top 5 in pace and top 5 in assists. The only thing they will miss this year is shooting which they can probably get in the draft with their two picks next year and the talent there is like Tre Johnson and Liam McNeely who will solve the shooting problems for the Spurs

  2. Houston rockets?

They were top 7 defense before Sengun got injured, what are we talking about here? And most of the season Landale wasn’t there or himself, Sengun was overloaded, there was no Steven Adams, and Tari (arguably best defender and biggest impact player in his first 100 games before he got injured).

And they got reed in addition. Rockets had Uncle Jeff at center, Je’Sean Tate and Aaron Holiday. Even Amen and Cam played so few games.

That’s not even including internal growth and a very simple offensive scheme. People are going to be surprised 😂

  3. Seems like Jabari wasn't a big part of your thinking re: Houston. Seemed like he got a lot better (more efficient, better understanding on D), even if his top-line numbers didn't move much. Are you seeing something different?

  4. On the Jazz Starters I'd be legit shook if they played Lauri/Collins/Walker as starters. Tried that already and know it doesn't work. Either Taylor Hendricks or Cody Williams will be the 5th starter over Collins.

  5. I know he’s controversial and not a great guy but Clippers seem invested in KPJ based on management and coach Lue’s comments. Last 30 games(of 57) 22-23-
KPJ- 34.5mpg… 19.8ppg 5.1reb 5.9ast 1.3stl .1blk 2.5TO 3threes 47/40.9/80.2 splits and advanced stats surprisingly shot way up. He’s way more talented than Bones Hyland imo it’s not even close but I get it it’s taboo in media to even mention anything about him

  6. Harden was not great down the stretch of last year he shot 39% from the field and 34% from 3 the last 34 games averaging 15.6ppg and he’s 35 now… the clippers are probably screwed and will need to shift to a rebuild by the end of the season but they aren’t completely devoid of young talent and assets like the Suns at least

  7. Blazers can’t start Scoot and Simons together and expect to be competitive at all that will be the worst defensive backcourt in recent memory. I think they start the season with Simons, Sharpe, Grant, Avdija, Ayton lineup and Scoot as 6th man and by January shift to starting him
