I think, of you're in pretty good shape, I think you give Anderson a shot. Who knows you may have to either way. People are so concerned with who starts where they forgot maybe the people who are going to get hit hardest. The bullpen. If you assume Lopez and Holmes are starters that's two guys who are going to be on probably a 60 and 80-85 pitch limit. That's fine if EVERY other starter goes deep. If not you could be in a situation where the only guys with bullets left are Chavez and Jackson or something. I'd rather throw Ian Anderson for 6 innings to start a game than Chavez and Jackson for 3-4 innings to finish a game. At least if Anderson runs into a tough spot you can bail to a plan B and try to mount a comeback. If the bullpen runs into trouble in the 7th or later you may not have time and you may not have anyone left TO bail them out. May as well try to take a start off your rotation's shoulders. Either way though this is A LOT for the pitching staff to handle. The offense is going to have to pitch in and give them some run support.
