[Patrick Friolet] Patrik Laine in English : “I’m pretty hard on myself. if you guys haven’t seen yet, i’m sure you will. I know what i’m capable of. I try to stay patient, but sometimes it’s easier said than done.”

I hope Marty works with him on this and keeps his eyes on that specifically. Hopefully he can monitor that part of Patrik and provide some optimism during down moments – because down moments will happen
I’m not worried, he’ll get it back.
Believe in MSL coaching 💪
If I was management, I would allocate so much resource to try and get this guy back on his feet.
In his prime, I’d say he would easily be our most talented offensive forward by far ( at least, until Demidov gets here).
If Dach can stay healthy Laine will be back in the 30-40 goal zone
Me, in English, listening to Patrik Laine’s interview: “I’m pretty hard.”
Why are we noting it’s in English lol? I don’t think he speaks much French and I doubt he’s talking to the Quebec media in Finnish.
The only thing we can do as fans is have reasonable expectations. Let’s unite! Down with hype! Let’s unite! Down with hype!
As someone who used to be needlessly hard on himself, I feel that. Hopefully MSL can help him with that, it’s the opposite of fun.
Positive vibes and positive health sprinkled with MSL whispers. Please hockey gods, please let us have this.
We have Dr. David Scott on our team. He is such the perfect resource for any type of issue, doesn’t matter what sport, he’s done it all. Not only for the mind”mental health”, he’s all about performance enhancement. Brilliant, VERY positive, sport phycologist, has an cool accent, tons of degrees, really funny… I’m sure Laine is loving Montreal so far.. Packed rink, delicious food, big city, lots of playing time, and he’s making coin..
