7. Was tough to see Donte go! He's all about team and sacrifices and there when called upon. Randle a talented guy, bully on offense but soft as pillow on defense and coming off surgeries the last few years and iso dominant. Only sad about losing Divo I'd trade randle for KAT any day and twice on sunday! In the playoffs you will come across teams with talented bigs all the time in Embid, Giannis, porzingus, Jokic so why wouldn't you arm yourself with one too?!

10. This is more about trusting Rose than being emotionally affected by this trade. I am thankful to Randle for helping bring the Knicks back to relevance. I wish him well.

    As for DiVo, he had a sensational season with the Knicks and his shot to help beat the 76ers will live in infamy!!

    There is a part of me that believes the Knicks valued Deuce over DiVo.

    I somehow believe there is another move to be made before the trade deadline, most likely involving Mitchell.

16. I like the trade. We havent had a stretch big since Porzingiz. That's gonna open the paint for Action Brunson. We get a big body to bang with Embiid and Turner. And we can have our own twin towers when Kat and Mitch play together

17. I don’t think you can give Thibs too long of a bench because he won’t use his depth.

    Now, this roster gets to build chemistry from the beginning of the season.

    The fan base will have to embrace a different kind of team.

    If Robinson heals up properly, it will feel like adding a prized FA to the roster – one that can make Embiid work harder for his points.

    If the rumors are true about DiVo not being so keen on coming off the bench, then his distraction is now in the rear view mirror.

    As much as I enjoy Hart on this team, I think he’s still better off the bench. He’s going to finish most games anyway.

    When this team goes small ball, they have guys who can play at a high tempo. If Kolek is effective as the 1, then the drop off isn’t so bad when Brunson is on the bench. Kolek won’t score those points but he can assist on them. Deuce and Cam are capable back up 1s, but can also play off the ball. There is depth there.

    The “X” factor for the bench may very well be Sims.

    Fun times ahead for the Knicks!!

27. I did not like this trade when it first came out but after some time to think on it, I think this could be exactly what NYK need. I also heard that Donte wasn’t a fan of being on the bench and didn’t really dig the Nova Knicks idea – since it diminished him to the bench with a lesser role.

29. When the news broke I had my hesitations. Definitely emotional over Dante. But if I look at the starting playoff team vs the starting reg season team, I’m happy. KAT and Malik are significant upgrades over ihart and Dante.
