  4. Too bad for Kim. He was already having a subpar year then the injury. He really hurt his contract potential this year.

    I hope his rehab is successful, he gets healthy and both parties agree to his mutual option so he can get a bag next offseason.

  17. What a nightmare season for Kim before he becomes a free agent. If he doesn’t exercise his mutual option I hope some team offers him a fair deal.

  19. Love the kid, love the energy he brought, loved the reaction the fans gave him. He just capped out on his ceiling last year and still couldn’t find a smooth way to hit fastballs. He was a liability for us when the errors started to pile up and you could tell he was pressing to make up for his bad start. I was hoping we traded him for something but at least he will get a ring with us. I was hoping to see him pinch run during the playoffs. He might not get a super bag but he is still very valuable to many clubs and I hope he gets paid in SF so he can join his friend and we still see him throughout the year.

  21. I know Giants fans have been expecting to sign him once his deal is up, and they would seem to have the inside track with JHL and Melvin giving him some familiarity in SF, but I really hope he’s out of the division if we can’t bring him back. I couldn’t bear to try and hate him.

    Maybe Toronto will pay way the hell too much for him. We can only dream.

  24. I really hope HSK just travels and hangs with the team the rest of the way. His presence could provide a huge playoff boost. We all know how insanely popular he is within the clubhouse.

    Fuck man makes me sad.
