Lakers fans on Twitter/X are saying that Mitch would be a good fit for us.
If he actually plays he would be a great back up big for AD, but he is extremely injury prone. I don’t think we should try to get him unless it’s for really cheap.
We need a reliable back up big with good health. Jonas is still my ideal option and he provides some spacing, whilst Mitch does not.
We dont need the center version of Vando we have enough injuries as is

He’s more injury prone than 2021-2022 AD
I wouldn’t actually mind Mitchell Robinson if he’s healthy. If we aren’t giving up much to get him I wouldn’t be against it. He’s a great rebounder and a good rim protector when healthy and we desperately need another big.
Robinson has suffered another injury as I typed this post
If the only other team more desperate for a big is trading a big, it’s a bad idea.

Robert Williams for Gabe makes more sense to me. It also clears playing time for JHS and possibly Bronny.
What would we even offer for him that the knicks want?
I don’t think they care about draft capital, they want a player that’s going to help them with this year and we don’t have any of those players that they would want/need
Rather pay more asset wise and try to pull Kessler
