Well we made it…
Last game of this awful, terrible lost season.
162 games of mostly nothingness at the major league level. A few small victories of progress – Cannon, Thorpe, Burke showing signs that the pitching could be a strength next year and moving forward. One big breakout in Crochet, but even that’s hard to celebrate much since it’s likely that only results in him getting traded in the offseason.
Kudos to everyone who sat through any significant portion of this year. We all deserve better than this.
