NY Mets Must Do THIS To Beat Milwaukee Brewers? Senga Back? PLAYOFF SCENARIOS

THE NY METS ARE PLAYING THE MILWAULKEE BREWERS TONIGHT AND MUST DO THESE KEY THINGS INORDER TO WIN AND THEREFORE PUT THEMSELVES IN POSITION TO MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. THE NY METS NEED TO HIT AND NEED LENGTH FROM THEIR ACE SEAN MANEA. THE METS NEEDS TO WIN AGAIST THE BREWERS AND THE DIAMONDBACKS NEED TO LOSE AGAINST THE PADRES. THE NY METS ARE ALSO MORE INJURED THAN THE ATLANTA BRAVES. IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY FOR THE NY METS TO GET KODAI SENGA BACK BEFORE THE END OF THE REGULAR SEASON. RUMOR IS THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT SENGA CAN PITCH AGAINST EITHER THE BRAVES OR THE BREWERS. THANK YOU, PLEASE LIKE AND SUBSCRIBE FOR THE LATEST NY METS NEWS.

  1. 90 wins remains the magic number in my opinion. The Mets just have to go 3-2 to get there. To do that, we have win 2/3 from the Brewers and split the doubleheader with the Braves. That's it. While it won't get us the tiebreaker vs the Braves, I would RATHER we finish the 3rd WC over 2nd. As the 3rd WC we play Milwaukee-Philly vs. SD-LA. Which would you rather?

If the Mets finish 90-72, missing the playoffs requires:

Diamondbacks (88-71) sweep the Padres, thereby finishing 91-71. Even winning 2/3 would not be enough, as the Mets own the tie breaker if both teams have 90 wins.

Braves (86-71) would have to sweep the Royals AND beat us 1/2 in the double header to get themselves to 90-72. If the Braves beat the Royals 2/3 and split the double header, they only finish 89-73.

I absolutely do not see both of those teams sweeping their opponents. The odds of that are less than 5%. Let's do this boys. 90 wins not only gets us in but is a nice round number and a psychological accomplishment that just looks a lot better on paper than 89. The Brewers will surely be cutting off their pitchers at 4 or 5 innings and fielding several back ups. GO GET IT DONE LGM!

  2. We watching the playoffs fly out the window for sure. We didn't stand on business that first game against Philly and the Braves our Mets blew the opportunity ☠️☠️☠️
