  1. 0 1-3 Teams have made the playoffs with the new playoff format.

But I bet 0 1-3 Teams had two all pro receivers coming back off IR.

I think we ain’t done yet, had a lot of things not go our way today – that’s football.

  2. Well that was my least favourite rams game in a minute. Uncharacteristically awful game from Mcvay imo

  3. We lost the game more than the Bears won it; that’s what makes today’s result more frustrating. 😡😡🤬

  4. Should have been a flag but we still beat ourselves. If we can find a way to get to 2-3 before the bye and guys get healthy we will be fine.

  5. Look I’m just saying Aubrey Pleasant can’t be any worse than Shula and we should make the change at the bye.

  6. Reminded me a lot of our early losses last year. Showed some flashes at times but just shot ourselves in the foot.

  7. This team has some serious personnel issues on defense. Still not getting enough pressure on opposing quarterbacks–don’t care what the numbers say. To struggle the way we did against this Bears O-line is unacceptable.

  8. What a vomit inducing game by the Rams. Last week we had McVay’s best coached game and this week was an absolute stinker. Punting in the 4th was an all time bad decision. 12 personnel was integral last week and MIA this week when our TE room was healthier this week than it was last. Where did it go? Terrible timeout usage too.

Stafford was not good today when it mattered. Our secondary is disgusting in a bad way. Kam Kinchens is maybe the worst player I’ve seen play for our defense since 2016.

Positives: Tutu, Whittington, Fiske, Karty. Verse is there too but man needs to clean up the missed tackles. They are hurting the team so much.

  9. Shula should be fucking embarrassed.

Couldn’t finish drives on offense. Couldn’t make tackles on defense. Recipe for an awful showing against an inferior team. Waldron’s the worst play caller in the league and we made him look like a genius. I miss Raheem.

Edit: also can we fucking STOP COMMITTING DEFENSIVE PENALTIES ON 3RD DOWN?!?!

  10. Can’t win games with poor run defense and poor red zone offense. This team is built to play with a lead. The upside is that the early bye will allow us to get healthy for the stretch run. The downside is that we have the toughest schedule remaining in the entire league.

  11. This is on mcvay out coached
Gets pass happen in the red zone when the run is working
Gets run happy when we have to get down the field and throw screens on 3 and long
Lack of scoring in red zone is really pathetic from an offensive genius

  12. McVay and Snead don’t have many misses. But going into this season with Roseboom and Reeder as our LBs is a fucking big one. Just an absolute insane decision that’s panning out like so many of us expected. Made Swift look like an all-pro after looking like garbage so far this year.

  13. Field Goals don’t win games. Simple as that. We dominated the first have but settled for kicking 3 field goals.

  14. Bad games from Stafford and McVay. Next week is gonna be a tough game, really wanted to steal one here.

  15. Redzone O killed us once again.

If we would have ran the ball in the redzone, this game is a rather easy road W.

  16. Dumb question but could the Rams challenge the play Stafford got hit ? I also think the commentators say they review every turn over wether you challenge it or not so why not there?

  17. Mcvay needs to stop being a bitch and go for it sometimes man. That punt on the Rams own 15 was infuriating. I’d rather lose the game with my offense on the field than the defense. Pretty much impossible to score a TD with a minute left and no timeouts with this personnel and lack of weapons from the 5 yard line anyway. Game was over once the defense predictably didn’t get the three and out. It’s such a cowardly punt.

  18. By the time kupp and puka come back it’ll probably be to late. This isn’t a good team defensively tho, even with those guys back this team will have to score a lot which isn’t good long term. If we go 1-4 think it’s time to start looking to next year whether that’s with Stafford or not. Team is lacking talent cause of the F Them Picks era especially defensively.

  19. That sack fumble near the end of the first half proved to be costly. Not the only reason we lost, but that basically gave them a touchdown.

  20. I won’t blame that game on the refs but it’s frustrating to see Matthew getting hit late, high, or helmet-to-helmet every game and none of it gets called. Every other QB in the league gets those calls. On the sac before that last late hit the defender took him down by hooking the inside of the back of his helmet which is also illegal and it was blatant as hell.

None of that is why we lost the game though, we have HORRIBLE red zone offense. It May be the worst in the league right now.

  21. My takeaways:

    – I like Karty. I know he missed one but he’s still feeling like an improvement at K and he’s only a rookie.

    – Verse is showing that he can get himself into the right position, he just doesn’t finish the job. So many times he was there to make the play and just let them slip through his wrap. So good and bad. But the bad negates a lot of the good cuz positioning doesn’t equate to tackling if they can just run through you consistently.

    – Stafford got hit in the head clear as day even before the replay. Idk how they missed that wow.

    – I’m not on the fire Shula bandwagon, but man defense looked like Swiss cheese today. Wide open receivers and Jared “Doorman” Verse. Linebackers got cooked a bunch.

    – O Line was awful today. So many uncontested free runs at Stafford today. Runs got absolutely blown up. Pocket collapses almost instantaneously on many plays. I know we’re battered but damn we’re gonna get Stafford killed between these no-calls and this o line.

    – We need Puka and Coop back. Not just for WR threats but also run support.

    – Red Zone offense still MIA

    – The Rams have horns on their helmets which are pretty damn neat

  22. Ouch. Going from an excellent game to this. The inconsistency with the Rams is frustrating.

Doing my best to remain optimistic.

  23. It’s a marathon. 13 games left which means there’s a lot of football to be played. Many many things can happen.

  24. Should have gone for it instead of punting. I get that is a scary part of the field, and you have to show your D that you believe in them, but the urgency just wasn’t there during the 4th from McVay.

Kudos to the Bears punter because he beat us, you won’t hear that punters beat teams very often, but he absolutely did.

McVay just cannot seem to understand that with Kupp and Puka out the RZ is for running the ball. Not screen plays and 7 yard drop back passes.

I really put this L squarely on McVay. His inability to adjust his game plan and sense of urgency cost us today.
