Imagine working at a place for 42 years, boomer lol.
This is truly heartbreaking I’m not even from Boston but Joe and Remy’s voice were apart of my childhood and It makes me feel old knowing 1 is gone and the other is retiring. End of a legendary Era
Green fields gets me choked up every year, this one especially. Fell asleep to his voice as a kid more days than i can recall. Joe deserves the best in his retirement. Can't get the right words together to express how much I appreciate him and wish him the best.
I go so far back w/ Joe. In the '80s, I was in New England radio. My early days as part timer (WEMJ, WKXL) I would engineer Sox games, with Ken Coleman and Joe Castiglione. I moved to GA in the early 90s. When the MLB App came online, I was thrilled to be able to listen to Joe again. Moved to CA in 2022, havre enjoyed Joe's calls these past few years. Gonna be tough to be without him.

Since Red Sox heroes, including Babe Ruth, Wade Boggs, and Roger Clemens, get traded to New York, will the same happen to Joe Castiglione?
