Ravens fans were right about Roman
Offense is not good. Good thing it’s bye week so I don’t have to waste my day next week
awful
This o line was Swiss cheese, like we all expected
Our identity as an offense depends on a strong offensive line. We won’t be winning many games until we fix our turnstile of a line.
Roman is who we thought he was
We need our guys back in the worst way. And our offense looks putrid. Defense just finally wore down
Game was done with that 4th and 1 call from 3 yard line
Typical Chargers – keep me invested by looking good in the 1st Quarter and then punching me in the balls for the rest of the game with a eventual L
I mean we just didn’t have the horses. No running game and Herbert got hit 10 times.
You have Sam mustipher trying to block Chris jones.
Recipe for disaster
Said this in the GT, but while the loss sucks, Herbie is playing with a mobility injury behind an injured OLine and an inexperienced WR corp, yet we were in it the entire game. Let’s use the bye to get healthy and, hopefully, we can pick up a WR before the deadline.
If the defense is good, the offense is shit.
If the offense is good, the defense is shit.
This is Charger football.
Death, taxes, and chiefs beating us at home
I am proposing to my girlfriend next weekend I am happy I don’t have to care about Chargers football and have something to be happy about hopefully
I’m still in fucking shock that he called TO invested of throwing the fucking challenge flag…
Lots of holes on our team, interior line, penetrating d tackle, a wide receiver that can get open, but the boys played hard today. Solid effort with missing pieces.
We should’ve definitely kept running the ball right at Chris Jones. Excellent play calling and even better clock management.
Jesse Minter is an ELITE DC
I missed it. Why was Herbert slamming his helmet?
fire joe lombardi
I told myself I won’t let grown men ruin my day but it appears grown men have ruined my day once again
Damn shame. But I’m glad the team played well. Hard to win when you’re missing like 6 of your best players and the one that is playing has one good leg.
We clearly need a WR1 BAD! Nobody can get open, especially with a bad Oline.
Harbaugh’s entire tenure here will be marred by Greg Roman. Team isn’t going anywhere with him as OC, and he’ll never get fired because he’s Harbaugh’s buddy.
I have never hated any team more than the Chiefs. I’d rather have some reincarnated cyborg Tom Brady win every other Super Bowl for the rest of my days than see Kermit get another ring
This game was winnable, so winnable. Here’s why they lost.
1. They’re missing their two star tackles, and Derwin James.
2. Offensively, Greg Roman did this team no favors. There was some good, but there were several questionable calls. Specifically that attrocious decision to pass the ball on 4th and 1, when you’d been demolishing them in the run that same drive. There is also zero deep vertical threat. Defenses know all the Chargers throw is short and intermediate passes. Retool this thing…
3. Harbaugh misused his timeouts. His use or lack of use of challenges was very questionable.
The defense played on an elite level. The offense failed them after being gifted 2 early turnovers. Despite this, there’s good to take from this. Harbaugh had this team competing. Heal up, and refocus the offensive plan during these next 2 weeks.
*And no, it is not time to fire Harbaugh you fucking doomfucks.*
Once again we’re scrappy and play tough we just don’t have the talent at certain spots o line especially, the team does look better plays harder than last year, the offense was rough but mostly cause 3/4 of the oline is practice squad quality players
I’ve seen Herbert pissed, but holy shit this might be the first time I’ve seen him crash out with that helmet slam. Greg Roman might just be Joe Lombardi reincarnated.
Offense will struggle. I don’t know why everyone doesn’t expect this. The interior oline is bad. The offense was missing both of the elite tackles. The offense does not have a legit or two playmaker. Like do people expect Herbert to just win by himself.
4 games in and Herbert still doesn’t have over 200 yards passing in a game. Say whatever you want about the gameplan but that’s just absurd. Blatant wasting of an elite talent. Horribly mismanaged franchise year after year. New regime old regime it doesn’t matter.
If Greg Roman is still the OC next year I think that’s gonna be the last straw. Said that last year with Staley and they fired him thank god hope they do the same
Many fans were pissed at the Roman hiring. We’re seeing exactly why now. My hot take from the first quarter of the season: Roman is relieved of his duties before week 11. His firing is inevitable IMO.
I want JK dobbins to remember that drop
So clearly Jesse minter is the only coach on this staff worth a damn. From a pure head coaching decision perspective that second half was as bad as anything we saw from Staley.
A pathetic showing by a Greg Roman led offense!?
I AM SHOCKED
He is exactly what people said, god awful.
Bills fan here that lived through and remembers the entire drought. I know how these games feel because it was us and Brady for two decades.
Hope your team gets healthy and make some noise after the bye. Just about everyone else outside of KC fans are rooting for the Bolts. If your team is healthy they can beat KC in their house.
Romans offense, and a patch work oline lost that game. Like really if my buddy and I can spot semi out there and automatically know it’s a run so can the chiefs defense or really any basic defense
