Tyler Kerth was on your show? I don't remember that. Bring him on again, before the season is over. It'd be great!
13 pitchers maximum are allowed to be on the post season roster. Which 13 should be selected?
In my opinion:
1. Freddy Peralta; a given, will start game #1.
2. Aaron Civale, I like to start game #2. He looked alot better in his recent starts.
3. Jarod Koenig, I like to be the opener in game #3 if there is a game #3.
4. Tobias Myers, I like to follow the the opener in game #3. Tobias looked much better in this role in his last outing.
5. Devin Williams, Keep the known closer for the 9th inning. Possibly a 2 inning stint if the game is tied.
6. Trevor Megill, he should be plenty rested and ready to light up the hitters. Use him as the official set up man in the 8th inning.
7. Joel Payamps, he should be rested enough to be very effective to shut down hitters in the 7th inning. No tired arm this year!
8. Aaron Ashby, has been very consistent out of the bullpen; use Ashby as the 6th inning man.
9. Frankie Montas, could be used for multiple innings out of the pen. Should be successful in this situation. Possible starter option
10. Brian Hudson, had enough time to get his velocity up. He's a key lefthanded option that has shown high leverage success.
11. D. L. Hall, great success in playoffs with Baltimore last year, coming out of the pen should be an asset.
12. Bryse Wilson, with time to have tuned up his game, can be very versatile being used in almost any situation.
13. Joe Ross, would be used for 2 innings in middle relief
Giannis is mentioned but the Brewers always seem to find a way to sign their franchise player like Braun, Yelich and Chourio. Adames has been a nice player but whatever team signs him won't be getting his best years. Adames has already shown a decline in defense but his offensive year overshadowed it.
