Means absolutely nothing because he never tackles!!!! Mr. Whiff.
We were so spoiled by AD. This kid is getting in the backfield with ease, but all anyone can pay attention to is his misses. Let him progress a bit before we go off the deep end. He is still a rookie, lots to learn.
He’s gunna be something else when he hits his stride.
5% tackle completion rate though lol. But he has the hardest part down which is what matters most. You can teach tackling, much harder to fix an inability to reach the QB
Everyones stuck on well he doesn’t tackle. To be honest, if he continues his production and never learns to tackle I’d be happy lol. He’s disrupting plays like crazy. His teammates need to learn to capitalize on that too
Verse potentially winning DROY is all we have right now
I think this team will really turn around once Verse learns to wrap up. Especially when JJIII and D-Will come back. I also wouldn’t be surprised if the Rams trade for an ILB around the BYE
Bro would’ve had two sacks had they not been negated by flags.
He got to the QB a lot too, but was called off by flags
Until he starts actually tackling, I couldn’t give a fuck 🤷🏽♂️
The Bears O-line are basically a bunch of cardboard cutouts. The Rams made them look good tho, which makes me sad.
Yes, he should finish these plays more often. But pressure is invaluable. Dude is a baller.
I keep thinking of it this way—he’s been doing this while we haven’t even played with a lead, affording him the chance to pin his ears back and attack the QB. Obviously same goes for the rest of our young DL. These guys are gonna open up once we start playing with some leads
Feels like its almost exclusively off his bull rush too. You shouldn’t be able to just move these 300+ lb professional athletes the way he does, haha.
Imagine if bro could tackle
Really the only thing you can complain about is his finishing ability which I think comes in time. I hope they are working on getting his hands stronger too. On most of his miss tackles if he was able to secure a hold on the jersey he would at least keep the player there. I think he is doing great so far and think he is going to be special
That’s good
He’s shown he can get pressure, he just can’t seem to finish his tackles and takes bad angles too.
