Isles are an older stagnant not improving average team so the inevitable fall could be hard and come quick. Caps made quiet improvements that could keep them at playoff level. Isles only added 11. Canes are still well coached probably not as good. Rags aren't going away. nj will be a lot better could win division. pens are old and trending down while holding onto old stars while hoping for old glory to return. Flyers still not a contender. bj's are in for a long season. Those three give average isles hope to keep playoff spot in metro unless the fall begins this season.
What to expect-another ho hum season of battling the playoff line for a w c spot while hoping injuries (30 ?) of long term variety don't derail isles season.
What not to expect-louzer to move out assets like 21 and 29 if isles inevitable fall out of playoff race occurs this season for futures.
Cool a bunch of guesses with nothing to back it.
