Heard some talk about Kyle Pitts as a trade target after Rice’s injury. If this is the tape he’s putting out, no, please.

Completely agree, he looks horrible right now.
He did dust Justin Reid against us though 🥴
Would be odd to roster 4 “receiving” tight ends anyway
Skyy runs terrible routes, and even he would be embarrassed with this tape. If Pitts put in even the slightest effort to make hard cuts instead of rounding them off 2 yards deeper than they need to be, he would be open.
Pitts never made any sense. Noah Gray is a solid #2 TE. Jared Wiley a rookie and supposed to be a receiving TE. Jody Fortson back on PS as a receiving TE.
They need WRs not more TEs
He got a 0 separation score. No thanks
With regard to phoning it in I do think there is something to be said for being on a championship contending team.
Like if I’m making millions per year and have little hope of a championship then I would have one singular goal. Stay healthy while being just good enough to keep making millions per year. I’m not taking any extra risks or effort unless it matters.
Noah Gray needs more targets. Dude can run and catch. And we just gave him a nice extension. We don’t need Pitts. Give the ball to Gray more.
Id rather have Drake Stoops for that slot position.
See if the panthers will trade Diontae Johnson
He’d have fit right in with the boys last year
Between the injury early in his career, and the years of bad offenses and QBs, Pitts hasn’t looked anything like his rookie year in a while.
All the trade targets have massive problems. Amari Cooper is the #1 trade target and he leads the league in drops.
Half of his production this year came on one play against us. He’s been a bust from Day 1.
To be fair, he’s matched up with Lattimore on 2 of those 3 routes.
