John Amos was a dear friend of mine. He actually played running back for the chiefs too we watched the last few superbowl together. He’d always tell me this story. One day after practice Hank Stram pulled Amos into his office and told him “John, I know you love football, and I know you love the Chiefs, but this ain’t for you. Go to Hollywood and go be an actor.” That was the last day he played football.
All of Eddie Murphys co-stars are passing after they do the 80s movie re-boots.
John Ashton from Beverly Hills Cop series passed just a day or so ago.

Apparently he passed away a day before my birthday…… sad feels….. Rest in paradise man
Seems like so many have passed away recently. Sad, but I’m happy they lived good long lives.
