I went to both of those home games. I was working 80 hour weeks, and was averaging like 5 hours of sleep a night, but I made time to go to both. I fell asleep in both games.
I was at the game where they swept us. It was not a good time on KC turf.
Looking back I wish the A’s won that wild card game knowing that we kicked their ass all season
KC had two great seasons, declined, cratered, rebuilt, and are back in the playoffs.
The Angels fell down and stayed down.
10 years ago we had a 98-64 record, 10 years later? Nearly the reverse of that 63-99

You were telling Kole Calhoun that the Angels wouldnt make the playoffs for another four decades. Accurate.
