I think Jerry Jones isn’t even thinking about Devonte right now, and if some miracle were to happen and we got him, Then what cowboys will have to out score everyone for a win because the defense can’t stop anybody?
When making a change in your professional career the least favorable decision would be a lateral move. Going from the Raiders to the Cowboys would at best be a lateral move with no chance to elevate your career to the next level, ie. Divisional Title and Super Bowl Champs.

I have been very critical of the Cowboys over the years for not picking up the players in free agency that I wanted. Jerry has been more likely to give money to our own players. After making them have a contemptuous disdain for management with trying to under pay. He has signed EVERYONE he has wanted eventually. Been a fan since the late '80's though DCFL
This is the opportunity to test players in order to know how and where to acquire players next season.
Fish Thanks for journalistic integrity lesson but give me straight dope no bullsh on who the Cowboys should be targeting for acquisition based on your first hand in depth knowledge on the ins and outs at the Star.
Of course Davante would make the team better, he would make any team better but he certainly isn't going to turn this team that is unlikely to make the playoffs and has no chance of winning more than a game in the playoffs into a legit contender nor is it likely he is a part of their long term plan with their contracts/salary cap situation going forward due to his age and the salary he would demand. This team has glaring needs on O-line, RB, D-line, linebacker among others that need to be addressed before adding a high priced WR. I honest think the Joneses came into this season will to write it off and get decent draft position to retool for the future.
They let Freeman go and they won't elevate Cook and Vaughnis still on the roster, so I'm not interested in RB speculation.

Every sports station on tv is mentioning Dallas as a destination for Adams. This is all Jerry cares about and he must be happy today. Dallas is just spinning its wheels and winning nothing as usual.
