I’ll probably stop once the board is complete, but I’ll do this again next off season, I already have a few ideas for some new categories for next year.
Lindholm had the best for a couple seasons. Monahan did as well. Ima go with Lindholm even though he kinda fell off
Michael Stone is the only reasonable answer if we can’t do Macinnis again.
Michael Stone with the absolute BOMBs from the point
Dion phaneuf!
I think Monahan right? We’ve already put Iggy and MacInnis on the board.
Phaneuf had a rocket but was so inaccurate. Mark Stone was kind of a one-trick pony and not at the same level as Monahan.
Guys like Fleury, Roberts, Gilmour scored a lot of goals but I don’t think were really pure snipers. Brett Hull was a sniper but not while he was here.
Maybe Joe Mullen but I don’t really remember him well enough.
I’ve been waiting this whole time to vote for this one. Stone baby!!!
I can’t believe we left Lanny off the board.. kinda bummed about that. So… I vote Lanny
Get Lanny on the board! Does it have to be honest?
Monahan was a snipe show
Michael Stone bombs 🗿🗿🗿🗿
Mike Cammelleri was clutch for a few seasons, his one timers were a thing of beauty.
Currently either sharangovich or kuzmenko, all time I would honestly have to go with Michael stone unironically.
Brett Hull
Best doesn’t mean hardest. I have a hard time voting for Michael Stone just because he could miss the net at 105MPH.
I’m thinking someone like Monahan since we can’t vote for players more than once. I’m too young but there’s gotta be someone from the 80’s who was a pure sniper too.
Shooting the puck hard is nice but useless if you can’t put it in the net.
Michael Stone earned those 1 year contracts, absolute beauty of a shot.
Lanny! He has to be on this list somewhere
I’ll throw a vote in for Cammalleri.
Kent Nilsson. Had 229 goals in 425 games (0.54 ggp) with a shooting percentage of 20.2
Bure
How about an old school pick of Willi Plett, or maybe that should have been yesterday’s pick, I kind of remember a lot of missed nets.
Cammalleri or Sharangovich
This chart started out great but is falling off for sure .
Alex tanguay Didn’t shoot enough. But usually found the top corner
The fact that Lanny didn’t make the board period feels very wrong
I don’t think it will get the votes, but man, anytime Alex Tanguay would actually shoot the puck, that man had a hell of an accurate shot!
I think Monahan. Wasn’t his shootout record pretty nuts at least for most of his time here? And he wasn’t doing any fancy moves.
Nobody said Giordano?
Lanny. 66 goals
Al Mac..
Or Jarome coming down the right side
Al McInnis
Lurking but this has to be jiri hudler
Watch the Kent Nilsson crossbar video
Hakan Loob, first Swed to hit 50 goals in a season. Honesty might be the only one to do it still.
I m not a Flames fan but definitely Phaneuf. He had a rocket.
Based on lots of these, we’re not really making the honest pick, but Al McInnis shot the puck through the fucking boards.
Brett Hull, Theo Fleury, Michael Cammelari assuming we can’t do people who were already on the board.
Sean “Money” Hands honorable mention.
Joe mullen
Al Macinnis – hardest shot with a wood stick!
Al MacInnis is the only answer. The man had a cannon that put the fear of God into people
Looch with the worst shot??! Not what his wife said.
Al MacInnis
MacInnis
Looch
Looch
Mony in a phone booth.
Martin Gelinas. You don’t eliminate 4 teams in the playoffs without a good shot.
Big Al. Not the most accurate shot, but it terrified the shit out of people. I once saw him score against Felix Potvin, and the play went on for almost 2 minutes before it was reviewed. It went in, hit the the rear post and came pack out so fast no one even saw it go in, including the goal judge.

Gotta be Monahan or Lanny
